Local Food Procurement Act

The Law on Local Public Food Procurement and Peasant, Family, and Community Agriculture in Colombia, known as Law 2046 of 2020, aims to promote the participation of small local producers and peasant, family, and community agriculture in public food procurement markets. This law seeks to establish conditions and instruments for food supply so that public food supply and distribution programs promote the inclusion of these producers and their organizations.
